The service was excellent and fast, and the brie burger was hands-down the best burger I can remember eating—and I’ve tried a lot of burgers up and down Vancouver Island. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavourful, and clearly made with care. Highly recommend if you’re a burger fan. We’ll definitely be back. ”

“ Went today for the first time and it was such a good experience! Service was great, patio was awesome and relaxing. The dog menu is lovely, my boy was a very happy customer! I had the chicken, Bri and cranberry sandwich with lattice fries and a side of Chipotle mayo to dip, would highly recommend Will 100% be back to try more of the menu. Thanks Happy Jack's!! ”

“ Such a great evening we had at Happy Jack’s. The food came surprisingly very quickly. Everything we ordered was very much delicious. Teagan served us extremely politely and she kept the distance at the perfect level to give us the privacy and at the same time she checked us frequent enough in case we needed something else. I was delighted with the sound quality. You can clearly hear the music while you can talk to each other in lower soft voice and you can hear and understand the conversation. The music choice was also great. It’s been awhile since I left a restaurant so pleased. Thank you all who made our evening so enjoyable. ”

“ Arayna was our server 2 nights in a row with our visiting nieces. She made the meal fun and was very nice to the girls. They liked the salt and pepper wings a lot. Best server in a long time. I nominate her for employee of the month. The vegan burger was good too, with lots of onions and pickles. They’re busy at dinner time but the wait wasn’t too long at all. All the staff members were friendly and very helpful. We’ll be back! ”

“ Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Englishman River Falls and the Coombs Old Country Market. Was quite busy for lunch (during Spring Break and many families were here). Staff were very friendly and always smiling. We liked the dark but clean look of the decor. We were in the middle of a week-long road trip and opted to have a healthier option of the Cajun Taco Salad. The salad was delicious with fresh mixed greens and a subtle Salsa. Surprising though was the presentation of the shredded tortilla chips sprinkled about. This is an excellent restaurant and wish them continued success! ”

“ We were really pleased with our dinner for our first time at Happy Jack’s. I had a great beef dip, a full meal to be sure. A family member said his Mac & Cheese was the best he’s ever tried. We also thought the colors and decor inside were well chosen. ”

“ While visiting Parksville, we stopped at Happy Jack's restaurant, it seemed to be pretty busy which was a good sign, we waited only a few minutes to be seated, the waitress was delightful informative and attentive. The food was delicious we had nachos and let me tell you I don't usually order nachos at a restaurant but here I was pleasantly surprised there was cheese on every layer and everything was really good! ”
